The chemistry D and Z have trumps all of that. They are the best 2-way combo in the league (f*** you Crosby and Malkin!). But I would be fine with swapping someone out for Homer, say Bert or Franzen or Cleary for that net presence. esteef

Other teams already key in on them when they're together and they're still successful. The Wings are deep enough offensively to keep Dats and Zetts together. They're like peanut butter and jelly. I agree about the fourth line though. esteef

The fact that these leagues sign these "exclusive" contracts with providers is what pisses me off. I don't want to have to switch my provider everytime I want to enjoy a season of the sport I choose whether it's NHL, NFL or whatever. Just like here in San Diego, you HAVE to have cable or you can't watch the Padres. Dish and Direct TV carry no Padres games and they're the local team for Christ sakes! Plus, the blackout deals these teams/owners have just make it all that much worse. I pay extra, a lot extra actually, to see all my team's games, and yet I STILL don't seem to see them all because of some douchebag's exclusive contract with the venue or the network or the provider or whatever. Bottom line for me is, if I pay for NHL Center Ice, I should have the ability to watch any and all games regardless of network. esteef

Yep, it's actually a combo of both (ownership deal/network zoning) but whatever. It sucks either way. And yes, a lot of Ducks games are blacked out even on Center Ice. esteef

Add in local blackouts to that equation and you're in the same boat as me. I get cable (with Versus) and Center Ice to ensure I don't miss games, only to have the f***in' Ducks/Wings blacked out pretty much every time they play. Booooooooooooooooools*** I tell you! esteef

I only used it during the Ducks/Wings series because a lot of Anaheim games are blacked out in my area but it was pretty nice. I think the HD version was a little flakey and slow coming over the wire (having to constantly buffer) but the low res was reliable. esteef
