The Wings just don't seem to get it. They figure they have their fighter now in Downey so it's all good. That position has been filled, time to go back to expecting someone to stick up for everybody instead realizing it's a team philosophy, much like Anaheim. One day they'll learn, probably as they're being bounced out of the playoffs again. MAC can't get here fast enough. esteef

Really don't think anyone's lobbying for MAC to play on the 2nd line, especially not for scoring. If anything, he'll be a 4th liner. -

Agree 100%. It can just be two so long as they are both big fighters. This is of course assuming Downey doesn't see much time in the playoffs but who knows. If the Wings go up 2-0 or 3-0 in a series Babs might let some guys start. wurd esteef
