His value as an enforcer in and of itself I agree is limited, but when you couple that with a team like Detroit who desparately needs a player of that ilk, it makes a little more sense why he gets the praise here that he does. peace, esteef

O.K. I'll go first. I think the only one of those that could be construed as demeaning is the Redskins, just because of the name. They had a similar dilemma here in San Diego for the SDSU Aztecs. The mascot used to run out onto the field with a flaming spear and throw it and pound his chest and stuff. Some Native Americans on campus bitched about it and got the school to no longer use the Indian guy as the official logo. He still goes out onto the field but he wears the traditional Aztec garb as well as he lost all the ridiculous flaming spears and antics. The Indian groups actually like the noteriety of the team names, as long as it's done in a tasteful manner. Personally, I think people today just seem to pick and choose when they want to be offended by stuff. Double standards certainly exist. Everybody seems to be hypersensitive to everything these days. my two cents, esteef

They must be still having problems with the Wings game feed. When it was on the audio was all screwed up. I hope they're just showing all these damn highlights because they're fixing it. So far, NHL Network sucks. BTW, I have Center Ice and it's not even on the schedule so NHL Network must have sole rights to it (in my area). esteef

Actually, you put the lid all the way on first which will cause it to have a big bubble in the center, then you lift one corner slightly while pushing down in the middle. That's where you get the burping sound, when a lot of air is trying to escape the small hole in the corner. Anyway, tupperware rocks! It's what I learned to play drums on!!!! Cheers! esteef
