The goal he had was just the icing on the cake. He had at least two BIG hits before that, one on Huskins and the other (I forget who it was on) rocked the whole end boards on one side of the rink behind the net. Plus, I remember him hitting and staying in Paulsson's face after a play on our net (of course Paulsson skated away because he's a puss). I think the back recovery has more to do with his play than anything. I think he purposely has been trying to limit his time in front of the net to cut down on all the hacks and cross-checks to the lower back. Also, I notice he misses some passes and mishandles the puck sometimes because he doesn't have his stick on the ice. This I think is because he is having trouble staying bent over all game because of the back problem. As he gets stronger he'll pick up his game even more than what we're seeing today. True, but Calder never had the luxury of the team being up by 5 goals either. Kopecky banged bodies and chipped in here and there. All Babs really wanted him to do. The two penalties are the only negatives. I'll agree with C+ for now. esteef

Agree, and as ridiculous as this sounds, maybe the NBA can actually help us here by their suspension of some pretty big names in the Phoenix/San Antonio series. One of the key players on Phoenix was suspended a game just for leaving the bench during an on-court altercation. Point here is the idea of suspending a star player during a critical time in a series might not be as far fetched as we think. Suspend Pronger. esteef

Of course, he's a psuedo-tough Ducks player who knew Datsyuk wouldn't do anything back. You don't see any of them cross-checking or shoving Bert or Lilja after the whistle do you? Bunch of ******* with "tough guy" name tags just like Calgary.
