The puck did not "completely" cross the line or it would've been an easy call from Toronto. The puck is still touching red when it gets obscured from view. Keep in mind, it was only obscured for like a half a second or something before squirting out entirely, and the pad that was obscuring it was not completely in the net either. So you can't use the "puck's under the pad, pad's all the way in the net, therefore, the puck is in the net" logic either. The right call was made, there was no clear view of the puck all the way across the line, so by the rules, NO GOAL. esteef

Agree. Bert looked like he was going to get around the Shark player and have a play on net. The Shark player throws his leg and arm out to try and slow Bert down.
