I can deal with the flashy suits, and he usually has something good to say, I just can't stand how he treats that dude that's usually with him. Always interrupting the him, taking cheap verbal shots at him and waving his arms all wide to take up the whole tv screen. He just comes off as a jerk to me. esteef

Right after Lang and Lilly's!!

They use something like this in marathons. You get what's called "chip timing" which is basically a chip that is identified when crossed over a line at the finish. Such a chip, or chip's material could be on a puck? I like it. It doesn't really matter if the puck crosses the line if the goal is knocked off it's moorings, or if the puck is in the goalie's glove, more of the video replay and discretion of the ref would determine the actual result of the play. But this device would accurately tell you if the pucked crossed the line, period. Does that info factor into the resulting call? Maybe, maybe not. Good idea! esteef

Here it is for all who missed it: http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/33073 A nice job by Lilly but I think he could've totally dominated this guy. He just doesn't attack enough I think. Oh well, he's gettin' there! BTW, here's a funny pic the Free Press had. Check out Ozzie gettin' a front row view! Cheers to The Pain Train! esteef

I wear my underwear on the outside until they're eliminated. Cheers to skidmarks! esteef

NHL Radio. What do they know? I don't trust anyone who doesn't eat smelt!

Keep in mind, goaltending is about more than one guy vs. one guy. Our defenseive core and Ozzie as a backup gives us the win in this category as well. Individual stats are close with Dom and Kipper but as a team the Flames gave up 27 more goals than us this year. Noteworthy I thought... esteef

makes sense...

Actually the grit-your-teeth face is actually a good defensive posture for taking a punch to the chin. It's the unclenched jaw getting rocked that usually knocks people out. This makes me think he's been getting some tips. Chelli? esteef

1st name on that list is the puke who nailed Cleary from behind against the boards! Barker I think... esteef

Pain Train = 1 assist, 2 SOG, 1 blocked shot, 1 fight, 1 hit , was a +1 and had 16:02 of ice time.

Me too. I live in SoCal and have watched him improve his game in LA all the way up until his trade this year to the Rangers. A much better player than when he left Detroit. Throws the mitts, aggravates, handles the puck well, has speed, pretty good shot, sticks up for teammates, etc.. esteef

Avery has looked good this year, even in L.A before he went to NY. A lot of these "takes too many dumb penalties" comments just don't apply anymore. I'd take him... esteef

I see your point. I still don't really know what the whole "Cheli's a crybaby" thing is all about anyway. He's always talking and bitching to the refs when he's on the ice because he's doing his job as the on-ice captain (when he's not with Lids of course). esteef
