Good news. When he verbally commited I showed a buddy his youtube video. He's the type of football fan that'll go to the bar to watch games but hit on chicks most of time he's there and probably dosen't know what recruting means but he was impressed and is excited see what he does next year.

Oh yeah I remember reading a little blip in a newspaper about his transfer. I remember reading he was a 4-star and was wondering why he would come to UM with Mallet already here. I was like if he wanted to be back in Michigan at least go to state or something.

We need someone who can get the ball accurately to receivers. I think there's a unfair reputation that the QB has to run a 4.3 like Pat White to fit in the system. Maybe that's why Mallet left. I doubt it since he ran the spread in high school. Same with henne and it wasn't surprising to see him excel when they ran it against Flordia. Remember last years recruiting class, we got about 6 four star receivers. I dont know anything about the current QB's on our roster but this might hurt if we don't get Pryor.

Sad to see a great talent throw it all away becasue they don't want to put in the extra work. Seems to be Ottawa's problem. People questioned their toughness and they went out and got a bunch of goons (Neil, Varada, etc...). Wrong. Toughness isn't how much PIM's you can count up. Look at the Wings and their cups. Gilchrist taking pain killer shots in the locker room before playoff games and screaming in pain. Yzerman hardly able to walk up an airplane but still putting it all on the line for that cup. I don't know...I think Emrey just wants to fight people and get in highlight films for brawls. Just my opinion.

Seems kind of ridiculous that chris can be in the top 15 in wins and not get in. Think about how the NHL has been in being, goalies everywhere, goalies in the minor leagues. 2 goalies on every team. Goalies being developed. Don't know when they started keeping stats but it's gotta be a couple generations. With all those goalies that have played professionally only 14 goalies have had more wins than chris. The argument that he played with great detroit teams? That dosen't work because it's a team game. Everyone has to do a part. If he sucked than he wouldn't have taken advantage of that. You could have a young gretzky, lemieux, howe, bobby orr, and paul coffey on a team and if you stick in average joe from the street in net your not going to get anywhere. Are you going to say scottie pippen sucks because he had Jordon, Kerr, and Roodman?

Jason Krog always has scored a lot of points in the minor leagues but is a 4th liner at best in the NHL. A little weird, I think he won the hobey baker but must lack foot speed. Guess he's kinda like Kip Miller for the Griffins.

Wow Rafalski got robbed! I know you need to represent every team but when the league leading Wings have 11 MORE points than the second place team you deserve more players than anyone else. Only positive I see out of this is Brian gets a break and he's logged a lot of minutes over the years when jersey made annual extended playoff runs.

It's weird with the bleeped out parts. I think it sounds like Roger knows Brian had to tell the truth and he's mad Brian didn't lied. I think one part of the conversation Brian said 'I'm telling the truth, i wanted to make sure you were prepared'. With roger repeatly denying it and Brian saying I know and all that he regrets not taking the fall because he dosen't want to get sued with his son in bad health. Plus Brian saying he'll go to jail for him and saying roger was family to him sounds like regret. Whole time Roger is trying to dance around with words.

If I remember correctly I seen an article on sports illustrated that was talking about Ray Emrey admitting he has problems getting motivated to play.
