Um, well Lidstrom has too much class for that, maybe that's why he has 3 stanley cup rings, and multiple norris trophies. Where has Pronger's goonery gotten him in terms of team success? If Bettman dosen'st suspended Pronger he is gutless. If Vladdy was stll patrolling our blue line, Pronger would still be in the trainer's office getting stitches.

I think this is the real stanley cup finals. The red wings are firing on all cylinders, they can play any type of game. The Ducks probably have two of the top 5 defenseman in the league today and not too shabby offense. This series is for the right to the cup IMO.

Just me but I believe it's because he chopped at Martin Lapointe's privates in the 98 privates. Chelios was a hated rival when he played for the Blackhawks but he would never stoop to Belfour's level. Belfour is just a drunk, and him in downtown detroit is scary . I think he took Tyler Arnesson to the bar and they both got arrrested. Arnasson was a promising player and ever sicne that he's been struggiling.

If Hasek retires, it should be Osgood and Liv. Liv is obviously not the goaltender of the future, other wise we would not have played musical goaltenders for the past 5 or 6 years. Let Howard develop in Grand Rpaids, and use Liv as a stop gap until next year. Just look at Ryan Miller. Osgood is a great serviceable part time starter/backup for next year, as well as when Howard arrives.

I was at the game and man after they scored those two quick goals the crowd got PISSED. It was funny cuz everyone started chanting shoot the puck on our PP and they actually shot it then and Datsyuk almost scored on a empty net. One of the funnier moments was when the puck got dumped in San Jose's end, and the defenseman got to it, and Bertuizzi came charging in at him and the whole crowd goes OHHH and Bert missed the check. Some guys above us were like 'did you hear the crowd? They knew it was coming'.

Yeah I've noticed the decling fans on tv and such so I decided to get a couple tickets for saturdays game to help the cause. But they were WAY to expensive in my mind for where the seats where at so this is like once a year deal I can afford.

All I know is I'm going to game 2 with my dad, the bank took a hit but it's worth it
