you think this is bad, hes being pretty even with the commentary. Typically he is calling for every play to be a penalty and will actually talk about how good the Sharks are on a play where they get scored on...... Worse yet I AM FORCED to listen to him, no choice whatsoever.
-
Is it just me or is Stuart purposely skating away from the puck?
-
who gave up the puck on our end? It was 3x I think. Whomever it was needs a bit of bench time

That would be Drew Ramenda The WALKING... TALKING... PENIS!!!!!

Wow I cant believe how non-physical we are playing. They are pushing through us (literally) and the defense is bouncing off them (literally). Id feel better if we were losing in hard fought games but we are just phoning it in. Embarrassing and sad that I cant find anything good about our play in the last 3 weeks

First game I havent made to SJ in over 3 years and Im happy I saved the money.

That Beer Rule #36. Men Dont Put Fruit in their Beer! Corona drinkers are also repeat offenders of this rule. For the non-drinkers that think 3 hrs is enough time to get s***ty on beer alone are sadly mistaken. If they were doing Tequila with beer backs you would have some seriously inebriated individuals but 3 hrs of 12oz beers is just long enough to get a buzz and work an appetite up for a good plate of nachos or a hotdog. Responsible drinkers tend to find a way home, we dont all pass out in the alley behind the arena and wake up the next morning wondering WTF just happened, this isnt Hangover the Movie.

I havent read any of this thread but your post stuck out. I would say this was one of the worst wins of the season. My house had Jr Varsity, PeeWee and Senior league used as adjectives for the horrible performance by our team tonight. IIRC we had something like 16 SOG and on paper 25% scoring is amazing but we played like the CBJ on a bad day. It is completely obvious that our depleted team is the reason, no ifs ands or buts. Losing D wasnt the end of the world, it was losing Nicky, Howie, Bert, Ericsson (as much as I hate to admit) plus Kindl and Abby. We are missing a full line and most are starters. I dont want to get all tinfoil hat style but I have wondered if all the injuries at once is actually a rest period for the guys that are older and/or are going to see a ton of minutes during the final push and into the playoffs. Its totally possible and completely crazy to think thats going on but it seems to make sense. On the other hand, maybe Im trying to rationalize the nuclear weapon that destroyed our team at a very inopportune time of the season.

Fixed it. Coaches corner will include dirty hits by Commie Swedes on American teams that wear the Russian colors next week Dons House of Suits made from Blind Drugged *** Hookers of the 70s Bed Sheets will be the sponsor.....

He saw his opportunity.... He took the shot Made the kill. Im with you there, I want every guy to get up and walk away. Same goes for racing, some watch for the crash some watch for the race. I watch for the race. In hockey and other contact sports, serious injury is always imminent just ask Todd McLellan. He was on the bench and got injured.. We also heap respect on these men because they play hard in the face of such danger. What is the sport worth if you are playing powder puff hockey, football or any other wheel to wheel type sport? Im a road racer and understand that even without being touched the opportunity for injury or death is possible. I could blow a tire and run into a wall and die. I could be hit and run into a wall and die just the same. This goes for hockey as well. You could trip and break your neck or you can get hit and break your neck. Its part of the game and part of the eliteness. These men understand the risk, they dont accept obvious plays to injure but all the same understand it can happen. My hopes are with both players.

I watched the hit and replay on the DVR via my plasma AGAIN and Voracek's helmet actually broke when he hit the ice Little chuck of helmet flew off as he hits the ice. I tend to be reminded of Brad Pitt in ****** as the Piker and the crushing punch that takes whats his name off his feet. Just so utterly violent but coldly beautiful in its execution. The youtube doesnt show him literally lost in his own swimming brain trying to comprehend what the f*** just happened to him. I can assure you this, Voracek will never remember that hitLOL
-
I watched it on the TV a few times and on the Youtube replay and it seems to me he got him with the lower tricep area, middle of the upper arm. He didnt dip and that is the only saving grace I can see. If he dipped or raised an elbow this would be a multi game suspension no questions asked.

That was just a sarcastic joke regarding their lovers quarrel last week, they bickered like a married couple and you either get divorced or get it on lol. I hate both of them and I didnt want to get Pierre in that one cause that just leaves bad visions in my head

This is pretty gray area although I think it was clean. Did Kron target the Voracek's head? I say no, his head was the closet part of his body to Kronner due to his head being down. A clear intent to taget would have an elbow or shoulder aiming for his cranium. Since it doesn't appear that he targeted his head then the principal point of contact is moot. Did Voracek put himself in a vulnerable position just prior to or simultaneously with the hit? Yes. He saw Kron, Kron skated at him and Voracek put his head down, tough luck bro. Was the hit AVOIDABLE? Any hit is avoidable, as in you don't check at all and you let a player pass you moving into your end. I know this part of the rule is more or less written to single out dirty blind siders and to protect situations such as the one that happened with Z and the boarding incident a few weeks ago. Will this be reviewed? Without a ******* doubt. Im also expecting to hear Mike "Im a cock sucking ****** bag" Milburry and Jeremy "lose the Jerry curl" Roenick team up on Kron in this situation and finish the evening having makeup sex. Will that make a difference? Depends on how Anti-Wings this gets in the media. I would expect this to be a suspension if the masses start screaming for retribution. Shanny has been pretty lenient with the Wings and he may be called out for favoritism if this goes to him for a decision. Im glad that Kronner floored Voracek. Those type of hits keep other teams aware that we arent a bunch of ***** Euro players that are afraid to play physical. I am praying that Kron doesnt get a suspension cause hes our only hope on the blue line right now. We simply cant afford to lose ANOTHER top liner right now. We are missing a full line plus a goalie right now and they are our stars. I anxiously wait with my fingers crossed that this goes our way.

Like I said... They have Dive-a-guchi lol. Still amazed that they went to the end of the line and the Blues showed up, amazing how 2 months changes things.

I say give Clears a few more games to figure out his state of health. Obviously a messed up knee prior and being post op now can definitely affect ones physical performance. If in the next few weeks hes still playing like poopoo then it may be time to consider having him work for his spot ALA Eaves and Miller, Emerton, Kindl and the others that have ready to go backups. Cleary is there when he is needed, hes the one thats in place for the GWG on a tip in. He isnt Rafalski in the clutch (26 seconds to win the game Rafalski) but hes a game changer and a game winner when it counts. Sadly, if he doesnt start stepping it up he is going to be a bigger liability than asset. I say that by Mid-March if he doesnt get with it that he needs to see reduced ice time or healthy scratches considering their are guys that can post up and not get run over the way hr has.

Remember the subtitle of the picture says "Not necessary all the time " The caps were for EMPHASIS which are needed SOMETIMES. Wrong place and the wrong time for a seriously played out jpeg. Minus for your post. Regarding the OP, I didnt know about the 50 rule and opened my eyes to why teams move prospects around when they don't seem to be worth moving. Plus to you. PS that picture is made for the person that posts... I CANT BELIEVE THAT DATSYUK HAS KNEE SURGERY THE SAME DAY THAT CLEARY COMES BACK FROM KNEE SURGERY. ITS GREAT THAT HOWIE GOT BACK AS SOON AS HE DID BUT WE DIDNT MISS HIM SINCE JOEY WAS PLAYING SO WELL. See the difference?

Just wanted to add that the CBJ just demolished the Guppies 6-3 for those that werent paying attention

I hope Conks finds a new team in the NHL to play full time. I was excited when he came back as he was really playing good while Ozzie was out and then he was gone. When he came back it was obvious that he wasnt the same player that he left as. Sadly, he wasnt able to play at the Wings level and as with any elite organazation the weak get turned over. To his credit he was thrown into some games that were all but lost and the others were him being dead cold. Joey was playing regularly with Grand Rapids so that may be a reason why there was a night and day difference for the backups. Its too bad that the NHL is a fickle sport like any pro league and you make it or break it in just a few games. I recall a few years back where Jimmy was called up and lost the game only to say that he didnt think he would ever play in the NHL again. To Howies benefit he has youth on his side, Conks doesnt. I think Ty will get a chance on a rebuilding team and will see action but I just dont see it at the level that the DRW brings. Maybe a year or two with CBJ or the like and itll be curtains. Hes not decrepit and certaintly not done but hes not going to be a heartbeat away from backstopping a team in the SCF. Good luck Ty, thanks for everything.

I do think Carolina will be the stake in our hearts. Maybe cause Im watching them killing the Caps right now but we have a tendency to play VERY slack against crappy teams. Oh and if we were playing the Spoilers next home game Id say we were done. Something about bottom rung teams always scare me unless they are certain bottom rungers like Anaheim. SJ is always a coin flip as is Nashville

Let me get this straight. You seriously think we are going to lose to almost every team that is in the top 8 of their conference? We OWN the Canucks, Anaheim and Philly. Also put into consideration that you think we are going to lose 33% of our games when we are on the best roll of the last few years? I think I couldve done better picking names out of a hat than your "analysis"... Feb. 21 at Chicago 8:00 OT Feb. 23 Vancouver 7:30 W Feb. 25 Colorado 7:00 W Feb. 28 at Columbus 7:00 L (WE PLAY BAD AGAINST BAD TEAMS) Mar. 2 Minnesota 7:30 W Mar. 4 Chicago 4:00 W Mar. 6 at Philadelphia 7:00 W Mar. 9 Los Angeles 7:30 W Mar. 10 at Nashville 8:00 OT Mar. 13 at Los Angeles 10:30W Mar. 14 at Anaheim 10:00 W Mar. 17 at San Jose 10:30 OT Mar. 19 Washington 7:30 W Mar. 21 at NY Rangers 7:30 W Mar. 24 Carolina 7:00 L Mar. 26 Columbus 7:30 W Mar. 28 at Columbus 7:30 W Mar. 30 Nashville 7:30 W Apr. 1 Florida 4:00 W Apr. 4 at St. Louis 7:30 W Apr. 5 New Jersey 7:30 W Overtimes I figure go one way or the other.
