I don't understand people ragging on the city of Nashville. The Red Wings ARE from the city Detroit, which doesn't have a good reputation itself. It's a small market team that has had some success. It's not like they're Phoenix or Dallas, who have absolutely no fan base.

Time to turn it on. Clearly outplayed the Hawks, but unfortunately Crawford decided to be decent for the second game in this season. Stay out of the box, keep the pressure up, and this sieve will let in a couple. Bert's playing hungry, look for the mule to play like he did two games ago. If this thing doesn't turn out, I'm sure the coyotes would love to play a series of road games against the Wings in the playoffs for the 3rd straight year.

Yeah, season is over. The playoffs are overrated anyways. Not even going to bother watching, because this team won't win a game. I get more excited about the offseason anyways. Who will the Wings sign? Thrilling stuff. Can't understand why people get excited over teams that finish in a 4-5 seed. Those teams don't have a chance. Maybe next year the wings can finish with 108 points instead of 100... Then I can finally get excited about the playoffs. Maybe. Only if Hudler/Franzen/Bert are traded over the off season. /sarcasm
