For a veteran team, it's embarrassing to see let downs like this to a young, inexperienced team. Have the wings played with a lead in the past month? How about capitalizing early, rather than blowing the game on defensive miscues and playing from behind.

Disappointing they don't show up until the third. On a brighter note, the Wings have been good on special teams.

If Holland starts stacking the team with goons, you'd just complain more about how terrible they are and how player x, y, and z should start over them.

If the last two periods were any indication of how this third will go, I think Babs should have Datsyuk play keepaway in the neutral zone for the first minute. After that, it's all systems go. Got to stay out of the box. If the Wings can stay out of the box this period, I think they win in regulation.

Like I said, they're getting their crappy play out of the way. Wings have been a streaky team all year... it'd be good to start a hot streak during the playoffs
