Homer got bent over backwards on that one. I still don't understand why that is a penalty on Detroit. He left the crease and put himself in front of Abdelkator who was doing the right thing and crashing wide of the net.

Helm got tripped. That was ridiculous. Definitely stuck his leg out so Helm couldn't get there to block the shot. Terrible non-call.

The pass and shot weren't contended at all. Totally falling asleep. Filp should have contended that pass. The first goal you can't really blame anyone. The pass miraculously landed on St Louis' stick.

I feel a big 3rd period for the Wings. Much like the last 4 minutes of last game. They were hungry and unbeatable. No way they were going to lose that. They just need to minimize the odd man breaks and keep blocking shots. They finally started a hard forecheck that last period and started playing Detroit hockey.... puck possession, great cycling, and good higher percentage shots that aren't blocked.
