Bull Eddie... the puck hit the guy going off the ice and he didn't even react or touch it... -

I've been there for Wings and Hawks but I didn't wear my jersey (not as much because I was afraid to but because its a cheap jersey not a nice one). I didn't hide my pleasure when Wings did good so don't think anyone had any doubts I was a Wings fan and I didn't have any obnoxious fans issues. -
I had to watch the Blues feed last night and one of their announcers gave the typical "subtle interference" line that Eddie O has made so popular. I expect it from him, since he can't contain his bias even while doing a national broadcast game. But, the fact that like every opposing team's announcers have to make a comment on it has started to really annoy me. I also find it hard to believe that with all these teams that are borrowing and modeling their teams off Detroit's, that there is NO OTHER team that is ever guilty of the famous "subtle interference" maneuver? C'mon.

No way that Sumo guy is fat enough to actually test a huge fat guy in net. I guess nobody is shaped like a sideways rectangle so the real quest is in the gaps that are open will the horribly slow reflexes be enough to cover those small spaces and how often against good defenses can a shooter hit a small window over and over for a good percentage?

What an a-hole Eddie is.... "that didn't look like too violent of a hit..." Shut up. Should have been boarding.

The points are the same but I'd argue that 27 and 11 are a far cry from 16 and 25. We need him putting the puck in the net more, not trying to be fancy.

WCF: (6) California Dreamin' v (5) The Night Chicago Died

If they end up being eliminated, I would love for Edzo to come over for the broadcast... the tears from him would be so joyous. Wish I could see in future and then become NBC exec who sets the broadcast teams. -

Personally I thought it was bs to see Kreider there celebrating while Price was out for the series after the hit on him. -

I blame myself. I sat down to watch a nice night of elimination. Bam, 2 - 0. I turn game off. Check score on phone, its 3 - 1. Whoa, at least Kings aren't giving up. Turn on for start of 3rd period. 4 - 3, and then the tying goal by Smith. Dammit! I will not watch game 6. Enjoy the victory LA! -

I wouldn't even give them that much credit. They probably still rate him as their #1 team and put him on the large market vs last Canadian team still in playoffs. He is probably crying himself to sleep every night because he can't request the other game for fear of really unveiling his unabashed bias. -

They do get good stretch passes, but honestly, I never understand how teams can't exploit that, because to me its just Hawk wings cherry picking and being slack on defense. I don't understand how teams can't exploit their possession and chances in the offensive zone more, when the wingers are cheating so much towards neutral ice. -

What a joke power play. Players get cleared out from in front of goalies all the time. If they called that a whistle there would be one after every shot attempt and whistle. -

I find it funny that Marchand got no goals in playoffs. He had some awesome chances and just miffed them. Dude spends more time on his ass on the ice than upright, trying to draw whistles. I try to like the small scrappy guys but this guy seems to go about it the wrong scrappy way somehow, rubs me wrong. Lucic is classless too. -
Oops, you are right I got the quote wrong, he's more subtle

Also, while demanding the girl's mother get back in the kitchen where she belongs and make some sandwiches.

I read a few comments on the ESPN story about this and wanted to stick a spike through my brain. One person said Babs didn't deserve to be there because his team was slated to win the conference and all he did was get an 8 seed.

Can't believe that hook by Keith wasn't a penalty shot, oh wait, yes I can.

Am I believing my ears that Minnesota is down to their third goaltender again!!!? Chicago gets this two years in a row? GMAFB.

Not 100% sure this belongs here, but I just can't stand the two different ways refs call games in regular season vs post-season. Its a bit embarassing and the refs can be perfectly fine and consistent calling playoffs the same way they did the regular season. The only calling automatics like puck over glass, too many men on ice, and slashes that break sticks is a little silly because those are automatics but there are still the every so often called regular penalty that seems to be at the whim of the refs and only called like 25% of the time. And star players not getting anything called on them that might jeopardize ratings? What a joke. I'd love to see the actual memo that tells these refs how to call playoffs that differs from how they did all year. If in the Chicago-St.Louis game after the Backes hit, the head official can tell the guys no more after whistle scrums or we will call majors, and the rest of the game is called more like a regular non-goonery playoff game, why can't they call every playoff game like that? It was one of the best games to watch all playoffs so far and in my opinion was called a lot more like a normal regular season game.

Bruins play the man, not the puck on defense and throw guys down to the ice and don't get whistles, then on offense, they fall at phantom contact and get whistles. Embarassing. I am sad and embarassed I rooted for them to beat Chicago last year... guess my hate blinded me to their antics. -

Despite being big and tough biggest bunch of divers I have seen since SJ teams of years past. Can't believe refs fall for this s*** from big bad bruins. 2nd worst thing other than losing is hearing ****** lord Edzo talking. -
Me was joking.

This all makes me think that Kronner and Pav figured no way this team makes the playoffs this year and planned to have babies
