I don't believe they turtled in the third. I think it was noticeable that even after 2 goals they kept the pressure up and tried to play it in Boston's zone (they just couldn't get another in the net). They just got out-played/out-hustled that last 17 minutes, in my opinion.

Are you kidding me? FIrst of all, that was the worst let in goal... And why do we always play down to competition... I think the Wings have more losses to the bottom dwellers of the league than any other team. Ridiculous.

Was going to ask if there was going to be discipline for the knee hit on Cole, but then I watched the Kneeing video from Dept of Player Safety. About zero chance of that guy being in trouble. Also, the inconsistency of the the penalties called by refs on Knee hits is ridiculous. One guy gets a 5 min misconduct and worse hits get zero.

I don't understand why we don't have better rested legs... its been like a week since our last game. I was going to comment a few days ago that it seems like Wings have some of the longest stretches between games and wondered how we compared to other teams.

I normally don't bag on Howard, but those were two straighforward shots in the SO from the Ducks. I have no idea how that dude is 9 for 13 now. Silverslug or whatever.

Right before their 2nd goal, Getzlaf was swinging his stick at Glendening like it was a freakin' baseball bat, like a little *****. Don't know which goony centerman I hate more, Getzlaf or Thornton.

Don't waste a roster spot. Just look at Carcillo on the Hawks. Gooning it up yesterday. He is so out of place on that roster of skilled players. -
