Not shocking to me. It was only a matter of time unfortunately the way stream sites have been dropping like flies. It's too bad. Hopefully he's only down and not out. Drumj, I sincerely hope you won't suffer any serious consequences. -

He'll need some offensive-minded linemates to put up significant points but I'm fairly excited that he's turning pro. -
Even when he does come back he'll need a significant amount of games to get back to NHL speed. We've seen this year and last year how when someone comes in cold from an injury that it's as if the team slows down when injured players come back.

I suppose it isn't all that surprising that they're struggling right now. They have a bunch of players who are still trying to get up to NHL speed. Datsyuk, Franzen, Cleary, Ericsson, the list probably goes on if we had more information. (shrug)

Yeah but you can't help but think that Babs would really love to be the coach of a team like the Boston Bruins because of their size and toughness. I mean, yeah they have a bunch of spotpickers but they can still answer the bell if really needed.

I think they're still the favorite though right? Not that it means anything.

The Wings believe that they will need him in the playoffs and because of injuries he has to get up to NHL speed. It's better if he does that now as opposed to during the playoffs. That's all I can think of.

Meh... Who cares? It's like what Babs said. All he wants right now is for the team to be feeling good about themselves and going into the playoffs with as much confidence as possible. -
