It's all about them curly fries.

Not sure how long I've kept my eye on them but it feels like it's been a while. They just seem to keep winning. They got some nice balanced scoring going on. Really, they're just playing well. I hope our Mitch Callahan can be half as good as Ryan. Thoughts? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W45jXVKj_CM

I personally feel like they keep winning because they got The f***in' All-Star... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rcXI1fHZhc And All-Stars don't cook, but... What other reasons explain their success? And are they for real?

Hopefully Tatar. He deserves it.

What is his deal here in this interview? Hearing aid falling out or something? -

He scored off a slapshot, hehe.

Do you guys know what a hamblacheapee is?

This hilarious moment is from the same game. Quite the funny game I guess.

Based on my own experience I'm aware of how skating can sometimes make your legs do funny things from time to time. However every time I see that clip I can't help but think to myself, 'How the hell does his body even move that way? He was moving forward and yet somehow got knocked backwards?' Maybe I need one of the writers from The Big Bang theory to educate me a little.

Yeah I read that article. I had a feeling that's where you got it. I need to find it and read it again because I don't remember them saying they will try to bring him over but rather that he would be the PP QB for GR. And yeah he would definitely get some PP time in GR. Yet in every other situation I worry for him because he's still too small and too slow. But if they think he can survive in the AHL then he's probably at least capable enough to endure the growing pains. I don't have the same knowledge they do. Based on my limited knowledge of his situation, I think he should move to another team in the SEL. I don't know how easy that is but it's a good option imo.

This one is still the funniest by far.
-
Did you hear any news about him? What makes you think he'll be in GR next year? Oh I am.

Next year the Griffins will be starving for talent on the back end without Smith. As of right now they only have three dmen signed for next year: Brian Lashoff, Travis Ehrhardt and Gleason Fournier. My hope is they bring back Janik, Exelby and hopefully another dman veteran who is not Logan Pyett. Ultimately the most frustrating factor about Pyett is that I can definitely see Kenny and Jimmy signing him again. A part me would like for Adam Almqvist to make the move to GR because his skills give him an excellent chance to be their #1 power play quarterback. However he's still too small and too slow. I fear that he'll get beat to s*** in the AHL. Also, Gleason Fournier doesn't seem like anything special; or at least special enough to deserve consistent time in GR. He's kind of like a left-handed Logan Pyett in the making. GR could really use a young talent like Dekeyser; especially if they pair him with the right veteran. The fact that he lists Jersey Shore as one of his favorite TV shows is far more bothersome/worrisome to me than his alleged taste for Mary Jane. Though both habits are fixable for sure. Anyways, how can the Wings win the bidding war on him? Money can't have all that much to do with it. An entry-level contract can only go so high right? So is it NHL playing time? I'm sure he's very aware that if he signs to be a Red Wing that he won't have his theoretical first full year in the NHL for at least 3 years if we assume he's an NHL player. He'll receive some very good refinement in the AHL but maybe he isn't willing to wait that long. Or maybe he's hell bent on being a Red Wing. I suppose that's what many here including myself hope for his intentions.

Which was funnier/worse? Eaves or Setoguchi's?

He's taken shots at all the big players for Detroit.

f*** that. Well, get better Nick.

The best Wings defensive prospects could use another member. 1. Ouellet (10) 2. Lashoff (11) 3. Sproul (13) 4. Jensen (14) 5. Almqvist (15) 6. Backman (16)

This one is for Mr. Aussie_Wing. And myself. And anyone else who is a fan of Mursak. Red Wings' coach Mike Babcock sees offensive potential in speedy grinder Jan Mursak http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2012/02/red_wings_coach_mike_babcock_s_1.html

I'm confident that the most fair ceiling for him is still 2nd line center in the mold of a Jordan Staal. I'm very hesitant to say Jordan Staals are a dime a dozen.

Not that I completely disagree but what helps that perception is the fact that he's arguably the most fundamentally sound and natural skater on the team. He skates very, very well. An "off" game for him however is the areas in which he skates or perhaps avoids to skate. For instance, when he doesn't work his way to the net or to the inside while in the offensive zone. An "off" game for him simply looks different.
