I mean, come on, it is a little funny that you of all people start a thread about the Hawks losing streak as if it were going to continue and now they're on a 2 or 3 game winning streak, which I have a feeling is the only thing you'll take out of this reply and act all sarcastic about how a 2 or 3 game winning streak isn't all that impressive.

So that Pavel goal last night, imo, will probably be THE play/goal of the year. When awood on YouTube comes up with his Top 10 goals of the year, that goal will be #1. It doesn't get anymore perfect than that. In fact, I dare the Wings to pull off something more perfect.

Definitely a nice sentiment since a win is a win but nothing would be better for me tomorrow than a 6-0 win for the Wings. Can't wait for that game.

He still hasn't played any NHL games yet. I thought he would've gotten 1 or 2 by now.

Yeah I'm pretty aware of all that and I'm definitely skeptical. The only intrigue I feel is the way in which the Wings can refine his role so that he doesn't have to be a #1 or #3 offensive dman with less minutes and so he plays the game with less pressure on his mind, which could hopefully lead to less mistakes. Unfortunately the only way to find out is if he plays a few games as a Red Wing. He also played for the Adirondack Red Wings. I wonder if they've been targeting him for years.

There is a tiny bit of intrigue for Kubina in my view. He does have some strengths. Right now he's averaging nearly 20 minutes a game. I wonder if he would play better if he had less minutes and you wouldn't see his weaknesses as much. Or is he one of those guys who plays better with more minutes? One of those guys who can't get into a groove unless he has his minutes sort of player.
