Definitely. Can't stand the way in which the Sharks have the Wings' number. Could possibly be the worst feeling of this season to date.

Hope Conklin clears waivers. I know the Hawks have some goalie issues along with maybe some other teams.

Sharks say they hoped DET was still on their streak so they could break it. I love it because in my mind I've had this upcoming game against the Sharks circled on the calendar. I can't stand how the Sharks currently have the Wings' number and I really want the Wings to beat their asses.

I don't think he'll ever be fully healthy. I can't even remember the last time he was fully healthy. His "100%" has to be like an average player's 60-70%. He's always just in a good enough condition that he can tolerate the numerous injuries he has. The good thing is that he's shown in the past that the playoff atmosphere makes it that much easier for him to put up with the pain.

Kind of an expensive friend though.

Yeah he has a cap hit of 4.5 that lasts until 2014-2015. It's higher than Franzen's. He's also a streaky point producer who hits around the 47-50 point mark on a yearly average. He also has the same issues that apply to every throwback power forward: Intensity, consistency, physicality, etc. However, imo, regardless of whether the Wings are to lose even one or both of either Holmstrom or Bertuzzi after this year, Malone is what the Wings can really use in the playoffs. He's a horse with pucks down low and he'll create space for the skilled players and he has a defensive conscience and good skating ability.

Oh Tatar... He doesn't have the greatest luck as far as callups this year. The Wings overall luck as a team though, knock on wood... I do hope Zetterberg plays.

If the Wings and Sharks meet again, I can already see Bert putting up with a plethora of s*** talking the Sharks will do about the Moore incident now that Dominic is a Shark. I don't know if they've tied Van for most annoying team. They did get rid of Setoguchi and the f***in' All-Star. I really want the Wings to beat the Sharks but I really don't want to watch another series of their dumbass tactics.

If we want a right hand shooting defenseman who can provide a little more offense from the third pairing and have a right hand shot on the 2nd power play unit, what about Marek Zidlicky? Although he's got a few issues as well.

Hell yes. For the playoffs I'd be more than ecstatic with a top six of: Mule-Pav-Bert Fil-Z-Malone Now Malone's contract is quite a pill to swallow. He may not get more points in the regular season than Hudler can at his best. But Malone can provide the role that skilled players like Fil and Z need to work their magic.
