I suppose Bert would get the cup first. I don't know how much the general public still hates him for the Moore incident but they will not like that one bit. I can already see the "Lidstrom showed little class choosing Bert first" articles.

That didn't seem to bother the coach at all though. As if Radulov just didn't really see him there. Oh well. I still think he'd be pretty good as a Red Wing.

They do. It's these along the wall of the entrance to the locker room or something like that. Obviously if you're special enough to have your number in the rafters then you get both a banner that forever reserves the number and a plaque.

We've definitely seen a significant difference at times when it comes to losses but I'm not sure it's that big. I feel like what really makes a difference is the opponent and whether or not the Wings struggle through some ups and downs.

In my dream NHL the Wings win the cup every year. I know that can get boring for most people but not me.

I don't know how anybody can say that and believe it with an unwavering heart. Especially guys who have been around the game as much as Holland. But in terms of team toughness I feel like Commodore is closer to reserving a playoff roster spot than Kindl or E for that matter. He would be good in the sense that he can take a hit to make a play and he has good skills to compliment skilled players and bottom six players. However, I wouldn't expect him to deliver the extent of toughness that Morrow can bring.

Babs said heavy D. (I can already see the rapper pictures). And no, unfortunately, the "Our powerplay is our enforcer" mantra was a pure 100% Detroit Red Wings company line. I remember Maltby saying that to a reporter and me sensing very little genuineness out of him.

As I grew up, I always thought the players took a lot of pride in being all-stars for all sports. As in, they all really wanted to go to be able to say they were an all-star year after year. Was I just naive or is the fact that some players make an effort to avoid the all-star game a relatively new phenomenon?
