In that same sentiment, I'm not sure if any team does, really. But overall it just seems like a bunch of message sending.

I never seem to have confidence in him when it comes to shootout situations. He capitalized on this one so good for him. And yeah I was wrong about him tying his career high in points. I don't know what happened there. Maybe I was looking at someone else's stats on the chart, probably Franzen's. Sorry Hockey Gods!

Any big Wings historians on here willing to make an extensive list of who can play? Which is pretty much anyone who is alive and proud to wear the winged wheel, no matter how short the duration. I think VM1138? is a big Wings historian. I'd make one myself but someone borrowed my version of the book, "What it means to be a Red Wing." Btw, great book that probably every Wings fan should have.

We've done this before. It really hurts and makes you and I sick to our stomachs when we have to type and read lists like those. Ugh. I need more starch in my diet. -
Or perhaps if the cap goes down or stays the same they might have an amnesty clause like the NBA did this past year. It'd be awesome.

You can probably make 2 (or more) teams for each organization. If they ask Sergei Fedorov to play then he could probably win the game for his team all by himself. Although because he's still in the KHL maybe he can't technically be an alum.
