Datsyuk #1 on TSN's Top-Ten Most Skilled Active Players

A little because Pav isn't Canadian. -
Well you're right in that the coaches won't want to break anything up too much. But also, Goose will be with other skilled players in Emmerton and Andersson you know? I'm sure they will all be on a similar wavelength as opposed to if he were with your typical crash and bang type of 4th liners. Now, how that line will match up against a bigger, physical 4th line is another issue but no matter how you slice up the lines you're going to have skilled players against tough grinders.

Haha I like Shanny's memories of him... "He sorta came into training camp under the radar and guys were saying 'Have you seen that goofy looking kid, you know, doesn't speak any English, walks with his toes pointed in sorta like Curious George. And he's a really nice kid, he smiles a lot but he doesn't understand anything but he's really good!'" -

Now that Helm is out and Nyquist is up, if I had to guess, the lines will for the most part stay the same. Franzen-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Filppula-Zetterberg-Hudler Cleary-Abdelkader-Miller Andersson-Emmerton-Nyquist I personally prefer Andersson at center though. Maybe Babs might have him in the middle instead but I'm thinking this is a 'paid your dues' kind of situation where Emmerton has first dibs on the center spot and plays there until he messes up.

f*** that... Man he was doing so well...

You mean you all haven't heard? -
When it comes to what this teem needs, I used to be torn between a shooter/scorer/sniper and a power/top-six dirty work winger. I still believe the Wings need another power winger as opposed to a sniper. A guy in the mold of Laich/Clowe/Doan, etc. If the Wings want to make a deep run into the playoffs, that kind of player will do wonders in a playoff environment.
-
I see him as an excellent backup goalie if he makes it. I don't know about him being a starter though yet.
-
Is the Cleary-Helm-Miller line playoff worthy? As in, is this a line you can see Babs starting with at the beginning of the playoffs? Assuming the Wings make it, of course.

Mursak with an assist. However the Griffins are down 3-5.

I'll try to watch the game tonight. I hope he plays.

Jurco goal at 2:30 Tvrdon goal at 3:00 Why the hell do websites out there still say that Tvrdon shoots right handed?

The curse of the Fab Five is very real.

Whoa dude... Comparing Mule to Shanny in front of a public of Wings fans is one of the best ways to ask for trouble.
-
I hope some of you out there can give a report on the performances of Jurco and Tvrdon.
-
O'Halloran... We all know him. Isn't Auger the one who allegedly promised he'd get Burrows back for something?

The best whipping boy line I heard a few weeks ago was "My sperm cell #6HF87 plays better than ( insert whipping boy's name here)."
-
So how much time did Pav spend against Backes? They really wanted to avoid that matchup in the beginning but I'm sure Backes got some shifts against him.
-
Nice to see that for this year he has shortened the amount of games that make up his cold streaks.
-
I thought that said you'd give away your kids for him.
