He still plays? -
12/15 GDT : Red Wings 3 at Predators 4

What really pissed me off about this game was how my wireless was crapping out on me and I couldn't watch a stream. I could barely check for updates but I saw the Wings were up 3-2 going into the 3rd and felt pretty good about the game. The next time I was able to check I saw the final score. ... Yeah f***. Whatever f***. -

I thought his name was Market Value? -
Could we set him on fire but preserve the Yzerman name?
-
Milbury is just a bitter, bitter old man. His presence alone on those hockey news report shows makes dogs bark for seemingly no reason.

I know this probably isn't right when you go by the numbers but it always seems like the Wings lose in Nashville. Or maybe it's just that the losses in Nashville seem to more memorable than most. Ugh. f*** that. -
Chris Pronger to miss remainder of 11/12 season & playoffs

It's not his fault he's 6'6. -
There's nothing he can do, really. Many of us have already made up our minds about Ericsson and that's probably how it's going to be from now on. Every single mistake more often than not overshadows whatever good he contributes, kind of like Hudler and to a lesser extent in years past, Filppula.
-
Well he does like to celebrate things. Maybe the fact that he's so excited about the possibility of playing tonight just shows how much he loves the team. Or something like that.
-
So I guess it kind of was a case of premature tweetilation.

http://www.mlive.com/griffins/index.ssf/2011/12/several_grand_rapids_griffins.html They expected him to be ready yesterday though, so, hmm, maybe he just hates the AHL, who knows?
-
f*** that... I can't help but think it's Datsyuk the way he went into the boards the other day.
-
I hope he didn't tweet prematurely. Premature tweetilation.

I'm happy for him but... Who's he replacing? Someone injured? (Gasp!)... Or will they healthy scratch Hudler? I'd much rather have the latter. -

Gotta keep winning. Has anyone seen the standings lately? The Wings are doing well for sure but there's just no breathing space at all. -
Bahahahahahahaha! Although... I have to wonder. If that kid's parents are Wings fans, how the hell did that kid become a Pens fan in the first place? Is it another case of "Come on, parents. Watch your kids!!" or is the culture of sports obsession in Pittsburgh that powerful of a force? Also, from the blog entry...

I think I know which sweater I want to wear to my next ugly Christmas sweater party.
-
I hope there's no bulls*** like what happened with Mrazek last year. I know his team isn't the CZE but still... Not sure if they operate the same.
-
Anymore vintage Wings sweaters available made of wool? Now that's the original sweater.

That line was pretty good. Not an incredible source of offense for a third line but you had Draper, the gritty and intelligent defensive veteran who really knew the game, agitated opponents with his mouth and work ethic, and served as a big voice in the locker room and on the bench; and Drake who fans hated during the regular season but turned out to be quite a wrecking ball on the ice and he knew the game as well. Cleary, though, imo wasn't near 95-100% because of the jaw situation but he played well defensively. Draper and Drake made that line awesome though mainly because of their veteran knowledge and experience and they really excelled in a playoff style and atmosphere. I don't really think we've really seen anything like that line since. At best a younger, unpolished version of that line at some points the past few years. I have yet to see anything close to a young Dallas Drake.

Mursak has begun traveling with the team to practice and get treatment, but Babcock said: "Until he can turn and have agility, he’s not even close. He’s coming, but I haven’t seen any agility out of him yet." http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2011/12/forward_chris_conners_determin.html Boooo...

What a great player. Don't know how he does it.
