This upcoming week is finals week for a lot of schools.

He's got some significant bumps and bruises but hopefully they're not too bad.

I suppose he hasn't passed his season high for total points just yet. Not unreasonable to proceed with caution in regards to his performance.

St. Louis is up on San Jose, 1-0. I want St. Louis to lose because they're way too close for comfort in the standings but I'd like for San Jose to lose as well.

Of course. I think we all tend to make comparisons to the way the Wings played in 08 way too much; the players included. Sometimes that comparison just isn't plausible. -
From what we know right now, it just seems as if Helm and Mursak seem like a perfect fit. In my mind, it's mostly because they're both fast and have a taste for dangling the puck. Mursak is a better finisher for sure but he's still more of a playmaker in my mind. So is Helm. Therefore they need a finisher. I'm looking at you, Abby or Cleary.

The CSSI reports on Winging It In Motown might give you a fairly good idea. It seems to me though that it's always about "trust" when it comes to any defensive issue with the Wings.
