Okay... Okay... So... Someone whined about the officiating... The next step would be a fine from the league for that individual, right?... Right? I get the sentiment of what you're saying. My memory just won't ever forget about the old days when Wings fans groaned about his last contract and the contract before that one. Captain Hindsight is always 20-20 though.

Yeah it's tough to see him beat himself up over that. I don't blame him too much but at the same time, I feel like it's pretty admirable that he cares enough to take it that hard. I guess that's why he's got the A on his sweater.

The Wings need to draft or acquire a young 19-20 year old skilled Russian center so that we can witness another awesome Larionov-Datsyuk mentor-mentee dynamic. Pavel's career would come full circle as a Red Wing.

Absolutely not enough room in GR for all these promising dmen prospects. At least a few will have to toil in the ECHL.

Let's face it, other teams are only going to be tougher to play against. I just hope they approach this off-season with aggression and not mostly rely on development from within the young players.

Hate to be a buzz kill but I don't take this as particularly great news. I really hate to hear that NBC's production style and the image they put out there is apparently a more than profitable sell to the public. I don't particularly dislike NBC but the people they employ to be their talking heads for the game of hockey/NHL simply shouldn't ever be in a position where their jobs are safe because of good ratings that mostly come from the two teams of the series.

If they want to have a team that doesn't have to really overachieve in order to simply get into the playoffs then it's probably not a good idea to stand pat.

We need to draft some of these players for sure. If Holland doesn't acquire both Hingle McCringleberry and Jackmerius Tacktheritrix then you might as well give Mike Milbury a shot at running the team.

I didn't actually notice Z's classic stunt at first. If it was on whatever that network with the peacock fetish is called then that probably explains it. But I have to ask, why again exactly is Z making that pained face?
