Very true. If I were him I would join Zetterberg for every off ice workout and training session. Pretty much follow him around the way Jimmy used to with Ozzie.

Ehhh he does but the Wings already kind of made that mistake trying to force Ville Leino to stay in front the net. Maybe it'll be different for Brunnstrom but I'd be wary of that.

The closest way I can demonstrate this over text is Nyew-queest (with a hint of V within the u) and Setterbearj (the j is mostly silent). Just like how Filppula is supposed to sound like Philp-Pula as if an accent is over the third P.

He needs to be on the team just so everybody can learn how to pronounce his name correctly. Sooner or later "Nyequist" will be the next "Zetterburg." Neither of which are even close to how those names should be pronounced.

I guess it's understandable why he got sent down and not just from a "managing assets" perspective. The pre-season is a "warm up" time for NHL veterans. Of course the players who are fighting for a better job are going to look better.

I hope he's not another Kindl waiting to happen. As in, guy almost makes the team out of camp and then... well, you know.
