Newbieeee. -
Seemed like you were drooling all over your sticky keyboard or something, haha. It's all good though. We all have our favorite prospects.

Hahaha... For some reason I'm picturing the perspective of a prisoner if Kim Kardashian just wandered in. He has to make a significant step in terms of offensive production this year. He just has to, fair or unfair.
-
In terms of how he'll be in the NHL I'm not sure we'll see that from him all that much if he makes it. That style of play can have a tremendous amount of wear and tear that is wayyyy more significant in the NHL as opposed to the Elitserien.

Actually I was wrong about 1995.

95, 96, 97, 98, 02, 06, 07, 09 If I'm not mistaken. To be fair, the Wings are 6-2 overall for those years. He might hate the Wings way more than Wings fans hate him.

Yeah, man. Like I said earlier in this thread, the Anaheim series in 2009 just always makes me feel pissed off even though the Wings ended up as the winners. The Colorado series in 1999 always leaves me in a state of bafflement upon reflection. Stevie Y was definitely a beast. When he got that hat trick against Anaheim and then scored his patented seemingly impossible middle-high to the short side goal on Roy, I really thought Wings fans were in for something truly special. I also find it hard to believe that you didn't experience even the slightest bit of stress as a Wings fan. What I think is more likely is you felt some stress but then you weighed the good and the bad and then your faith kicked in and allowed you to realize, "This team is going to win."

Lose in 1996 Beat Colorado in 1997 Lose in 1999 & 2000 (Difference of 2-3 years) Beat Colorado in 2002 (Difference of 2 years) Beat San Jose in 1995 Beat San Jose in 2007 Lose in 2010 & 2011 (Difference of 3-4 years) Beat San Jose in 2014??? 1999 still baffles me. My emotions will never allow me to fully understand what happened there. No matter how many times I try to tell myself it was most likely the goaltending I always revert back to, "But they were up 2-0 and the series was moving on to the Joe..." Ugh... That series to this day still pisses me off a little bit as a Red Wings fan.

Actually Ericsson won't receive more actual dollars than Kronwall. It's only Ericsson's cap hit (3.25) that is slightly larger than Kronwall's (3). For this year alone, Kronwall will receive a salary of 3.75 mil. Ericsson will receive 3.25 mil. It doesn't seem all that fair that Ericsson's cap hit is more than Kronner's but we have to consider that Kronner's cap hit came from a standard from around 2006 in which most of us thought the 3 mil cap hit was wayyy too high. Now we think Ericsson's cap hit is way too high and he has to prove us wrong. It doesn't always work that way but he has a chance.

McCrimmon, Salei on board Russian plane crash

The whole league should do something as a tribute. Even something small would do wonders imo. A lot of room on the helmets for something like how they did in 1999. -
Babs sets defense pairings for camp
Red Wings Addict replied to HockeytownRules19's topic in General
Yeah I think last year's starting pairings at the beginning and after training camp were: Lidstrom-Kronwall Stuart-Rafalski Ericsson-Salei Then because Babs wanted size against the Getzlaf line, he made a temporary switch in his original idea: Lidstrom-Ericsson Stuart-Rafalski Kronwall-Salei Then Ericsson got injured in that game. I don't exactly remember what happened then but iirc I think Babs rotated and double shifted Stuart, Kronwall and Rafalski with Lidstrom. Over the next eight games of the whole rotation experiment while Ericsson healed up and Kindl got a few minutes, Babs evidently and especially liked what he saw with the Lidstrom and Stuart pairing and then set the theoretical "one puck mover and one physical presence" lines as the team's number one main option for the rest of the season if all dmen were healthy: Lidstrom-Stuart Kronwall-Salei Ericsson-Rafalski -
Maltby did score 50 goals in juniors.

Isn't Commie old enough and experienced enough so that he shouldn't need that kind of motivational tactic? -
Well, I'm pretty sure the show is partially fake. Just like all the other bad shows that have spread through what was known as CourtTV and is now a TruTV joke of a channel in my honest personal preference. Ugh. I used to love that channel. At least Mac will get to work on his acting skills a little bit.

He's always been like that though. Anybody who can flash their tongue at Ozzie as if they're going down on the Czech Republic's fines prostitute is pretty confident in his masculinity.

Can UFC training give one a competitive advantage as a hockey player? Or is Hudler really better off training the same way as Datsyuk and/or Zetterberg?

"Where's my money you little POS?!?!?! Gimme my money! Don't make me call Mike Brown or Dion Phaneuf on yo ass..."

Babs sets defense pairings for camp
Red Wings Addict replied to HockeytownRules19's topic in General
Well Babs hopes Commie will be a "good teammate." I mean... That could just be a politically correct way to say sit your ass down in the press box with a smile on your face. Guess Babs is already trying to "bury"* Commodore, huh? *"I thought he (Babs) put his best foot forward to bury me (Commie)." -
Everyone has rejoined the team for skating...except one player...

Oh don't you worry. He'll be here. Never goes away. -

Either that or he'll play really well this year and price himself out of Detroit with a really bad contract somewhere else. -

Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking too. You have to fall first from a high level in order to bounce back.
