The magic between the classic Euro Twins does a decent job of rivaling the magic between the Russian Five, but the R5 was probably the best thing Wings have seen in terms of Harlem Globetrotters on ice.

Haha. You know, I think I used irony in the same manner and my buddy, who's a creative writer, told me the story I told was not real irony, just plain "karmic" tragedy. Now I'm not quite sure what's what.

Good question. I remember Kenny said Modano spent all summer trying to make a decision and wasn't really training. No doubt one of the reasons he didn't have a successful year aside from the skate to the wrist (?).

He looked massive. He played opposite of massive. Ridiculously soft for the NA game.

It's not one of my favorite lines because it had a significantly beat up Yzerman and that's not how I like to remember him. They had some nice success on the power play at least and a Shanahan-Fedorov combo is always awesome.

I heard a random story about Patrick Kane a couple years ago. He was like 18 or 19 and he was trying to get into bars in the Buffalo area. They obviously wouldn't let him because he wasn't 21. Before he left he just said to the people keeping him out, "Whatever, I'll buy this place" and that kind of attitude. Ahh superstardom, you know?

Homie, by my limited knowledge as a fan, really shouldn't be on the top line during 5 on 5 situations. However, Babs keeping putting him there possibly because he believes that Homie's effectiveness is dependent on linemates who are scoring line players. It is a thankless job but I feel like Wings fans will be pretty tolerant of Shanny's decisions unless they are blatantly ridiculous. -
