In regards to the Red Wings prospects, it's mostly positive that the Red Wings staff are taking more control. Or at least I hope. He may not have the best attitude in the world, but I feel like Daniel Larsson had a legitimate complaint when he said GR had no goalie coach to help him develop. Hopefully those issues will be no more once the Wings do a little more micro managing in GR.

Any chance the Coyotes are just looking to move defensemen in general? Or is it just Yandle who wants out? Cause if it's the former then I'd definitely see what they would want for Oliver Ekman-Larsson.

How could you not feel even a little sense of concern when you consider his reputation? With that alone, you get the impression that Kenny won't sniff anywhere near a guy like that. At the same time, IF Kenny manages to get a guy like him then you might think that he's willing to get better as an NHL player. Because can't he just go back to KHL if he's just looking for someone to cut the check? Or does he have a crazy reputation there too?

According to RDS.ca Jordan Pearce has signed a 2-yr 2-way contract with Detroit.

Ken Holland kicks tires everywhere though. Almost as much as Jiri Hudler kicks puppies of Red Wings fans.

What was great about that series in regards to Havlat was that the Wings didn't ease up on him at all after that Havsplat hit. Stuart got him really good in the next game. It was awesome.

Dandenault was much, MUCH more competent than Lebda, man. Freddie also scored the OT winner in Game 3 I believe of that same series.

So the Wings got a Commodore 64 yesterday and today they got a... Nintendo 64? But hey, Nintendo 64 is still a sweet system. It'd be super awesome if the Wings found a way to acquire a Ninetendo Wii though since it has the ability to load Nintendo 64 games. Ian White is capable of playing the PP point but I bet he's not on the 1st unit. I remember Kenny saying something about how Kronwall could take Rafalski's spot on the PP, and to be honest that makes more sense to me than simply slotting Ian White there. Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Holmstrom Lidstrom-Kronwall 2nd unit... Hmm... If it were up to me the way I'm feeling right now: Franzen-Filppula-Eaves (Bertuzzi 2nd) Hudler (Kindl 2nd)-White But who knows, maybe Babs simply can't shake off his need for every single threat possible on the power play, thus the focus for a right hand shot. EDIT: Stupid double post.

Now that the Wings have Ian White and still have hopes for Kindl, I hope 64 is aware that he might have to be a healthy scratch every now and again.
