I like people acting like picking up a superstar basically guarantees us a cup. On paper the Pens were basically an all star team and they still got swept.

This is exactly what I was trying to tell everyone when they were saying "might as well just give the cup to e penguins right now" after those acquisitions. Firepower hasn't ever been their problem. -
Not as funny as some of the other eulogys that have been posted. I did get a little laugh about it and I'm definitely guilty of the "how many cups have you won?" Line but that's largely due to being surrounded by Canucks fans. I give the article a solid "meh"

Based on what he's said regarding salary before, I don't think he's the kind of guy who would make a lot of ridiculous money demands. He's compared himself to other players with similar production and asked for similar pay. Very fair.

Terrible. This made me so mad. Diving is one of my biggest pet peeves so this was especially hard to watch. That said, this vid was really well made.

NBC basically seemed to say that it COULD be a penalty shot but that it shouldn't have been one which is the opinion I've seen from almost everyone. Agreed, it's not the reason we lost but it's certainly a part of it. It's just a shame to see such inconsistent officiating. Jimmy was rattled about the call and it showed.

This game made me so proud to be a Wings fan. First team to shut them out this season. First time they lost three in a row. All around so good. Coaching, rookies, vets. Ahh can't even express! Crymson! You're my hero! I was looking for this clip all night! -

I wish I had bothered to find this guy's twitter since I mentioned the hammer/nail analogy earlier during the game. Funny how as the series goes along the "nail" is looking more like a railway spike. -

I feel bad for fans of other teams because their GDT can't possibly be as good as the ones FlashyG puts together. I'm hoping for a Kronwall hit on Hossa. Maybe Toews because he's been so whiny. I'm as nervous as two nervous things. Lets go Wings! (Didn't mean for that to rhyme) -

I definitely agree that since the comments were directed at Kane and not actually insults about his mother that it's fine. If Kane hadn't tattled it wouldn't be as funny but he did so it is.

I actually came here just to post this. I agree that I think Healy just worded it poorly because nobody in their right mind would claim he isn't talented but the puck daddy article killed me.
