This kings game is a roller coaster to me, but they're up again! For the record I would be cheering for them regardless of the circumstance as they've been my second farvorite team for years (used to live there) That was an awesome play, but 20 seconds earlier he tried to kick it out, instead of making the safe play and sweeping it with his hand, and completely whiffed.He made up for it with the "slide tackle"

s***ty announcers? The wings lost because of Kipper, not Howard. First of all, if kipper wasn't spectacular all game, those goals wouldn't have had as much of an affect on the outcome. Secondly, its not like howard could have done anything on the first bad goal. The second one was more his fault, but it has to be unbelievably hard to judge when the puck will get into the trapezoid AND when the player will get there all by just eyeballing. It was his fault, but he DESERVES to be cut some slack. You clearly haven't watched many games this season. Their defensemen have been surprisingly good after losing the best defensemen of all time. And explain how Detroit has allowed 2 goals or less practically every game over the last 2 months

The fact that they are going through a major rebuild and still making the playoffs every year says something about Kenny and the management staff.The Oilers are going through a major rebuild as well: Last place in 2010 Last place in 2011 29th place in 2012 Would you rather go through that? Also, last summer our D looked like it would be the worst in the league, but then Kenny managed to sign some guys who have really helped us out, and he showed off his draft skills again. (Colaiacovo has been really solid in the games he's played and dekeyser looks good as well. Kindl and lashoff have both proved to be surprisingly good draft picks)

I still think he's the best gm... By far. A lot of posters here think he is on the decline because he hasn't landed a lot of big name free agents/trades but think about this: 29 teams didn't land parise or suter 29 teams didn't land semin 29 teams didn't get bouwmeester 29 teams didn't land Justin Schultz....... Holand did manage to land Brunner and dekeyser who both look very promising. Most teams' rebuilds look like Edmonton's or Calgary's or buffalo's. Holland managed to construct a major rebuild without even missing the playoffs (hopefully), and he kept our prospect pool intact. (He strengthened it if you consider dekeyser a prospect. Good job Kenny!

Lidstrom and holmstrom were pretty useless too. It's almost like they werebt even there

Was that our first season sweep so far this year? We still have a chance to sweep Vancouver and I believe Edmonton as well
