So franzen gets a bs penalty and then the wings don't get a 5 minute PP there... I know a set of refs who will be golfing with the preds after this series -

They haven't been healthy since the deadline. Their healthy roster looks DEADLY on paper. If you factor in franzen always stepping it up in the playoffs and helm (if the wings make it far enough for him to play) always providing energy, they should have nothing to worry about and make it out of the second round this year Go wings!

Thank you. Instead of giving up on this team, I gave up on the thread. This is my first time on in over a week and I'm not planning on comin back until the wings start winning and these "fans" shut the hell up

I was at a kings game at staples a few years ago (not against the wings) and I remember a fight breaking out and a fan screaming "break his collarbone!"

I went to an aves/canadiens game when I was there for the tourney and I actually liked the fans. I wasn't wearing wings gear so I guess it may have been a little worse if I had. I thought they were very knowledgeable though

Does anyone else think smith looks bigger than 6'1" 199lbs? On more than one occasion, I've mistaken him for Quincey. Is the red wings website wrong or does he just play really big And isn't he the only 2 way contract on D? They obviously won't risk waiving anyone. I like that they have 8 NHL ready defenseman in case of injury

If they don't make playoffs, i feel way more comfortable with a possible 4th place position. They just have to worry about st Louis or Vancouver in the later rounds
