LGW! Seems strange to rest all of our best players since this game is still pretty significant for us in the playoff picture. We could potentially be #3 in the Atlantic, #1 Wildcard, or #2 Wildcard after tonight. Here's to hoping Boston misses the playoffs! (I wish the Pens could miss too, but I am sort of looking forward to the annual Fleury playoff implosion. It is quite entertaining. -

The Canadiens have an easier road to the top of the Atlantic, so depending on how the last game plays out for Detroit and Ottawa, it will likely be Detroit and Tampa in the first round. MTL swept them last year, so maybe they aren't as good in the playoffs? Granted they didn't have Bishop or seemingly unlimited rookies with 50+ points each. -

And I understand that, but a shot from the lower hash mark that flutters a little bit. It's not like Quincey redirected it bar-down or something. Agree to disagree I guess. Howard was stellar for a good portion of this game but looked to be back to some old tricks on a few of those goals in my opinion. -
