The Canadiens were actually hitting them back hard and getting their fans into it which is something that the Wings just can't do. It's hard watching Tatar and Nyquist get completely destroyed and avoid hits the way they were in the Bruins series. I don't think that the Wings need to become the Bruins, but I think they definitely need some bigger guys in the lineup. Also, the s***ty NBC announcers kept harping on the "character" guys on the Canadiens, but I think the Wings need guys like that too. I like Glendo, but someone playing that role needs to be hitting and creating energy with every shift and scoring occasionally. Weise for the Candiens is a prime example of a bottom six grinder that the Wings need.

Unfortunately, this series just shows how inferior the Wings team was this season. The Bruins by no means outplayed them although Price was very strong in net for the Habs. The two teams were actually pretty evenly matched, something that cannot be said about the series between the Wings and Bruins.

The Smith's mom sent a text saying "I hope you win tonight" to both Reilly and Brendan in the first round. Pretty funny.

Hilarious. Thought the Marchand "knee on knee" was legit at the time, but after seeing this, I am assured that he is the biggest diver in the league. The other videos are pretty funny as well. Not saying the Wings don't dive too, but man I hate the Bruins.

What a crazy game. Bruins scored 4 goals in the last period (including empty netter). That is a team that can get it done.

Unfortunately, in my opinion this means that the Hawks will be in the finals again. Most likely Bruins vs. Hawks again too.

That should have been a penalty though in the 3rd. Clearly a hold. MacKinnon is absolutely lighting it up. If only our rookies could have done 1/8th of what he has for the Avs in the playoffs.

I think this series showed the glaring holes in this Wings team. I do not believe Holland will do anything or enough to make the drastic changes that this club needs to be competitive again. That said I will never follow another hockey team. Still proud to be a Wings fan despite everything.

Everyone needs to be honest with themselves. Holland is going to re-sign Sammy, Cleary, Alfie, Bert, and Quincey. Next year Dekeyser will be playing in the minors for no reason and Tatar, Nyquist, Sheahan, and Jurco will be traded. They will be replaced with Ray Whitney, Jaromir Jagr, Teemu Selanne, and Hal Gill.
