    True. I guess I have unrealistic expectations for him since he is now our bonafide #1 center even though he would be better suited on the 2nd or 3rd line with a healthy roster.

    Have you guys noticed how many other teams have benefited from the "lively" boards at the Joe. You rarely see the Wings bank one off the boards as much as the other teams do it.

    His body language has shown so much this whole season. You can just tell the guy has no confidence this year at all. In his defense though I would only say the second goal was pretty soft although it was a lucky bounce. Just unbelievable the amount of blown 2 goal leads this year. Absolutely unforgivable.

    Problem with a defensive strategy like this is that you never score, and it is inevitable that the other team will when you play in your own defensive end the entire game.
