I completely agree. I love Howard, but he has not been good this year. Maybe this is coming from my expectations being too high based on his performance in the latter stages of last year through the playoffs. I do not have confidence in him at all though and maybe his problem is his confidence also. I'm not saying all the goals tonight are his fault; however, it just seems like there is always some excuse for him losing. You can only go so far to say it is bad luck or whatever and not blame the goalie. I just hope he steps it up soon because things are starting to get really ugly for this team.

This team just absolutely cannot win with Howard in net. It's not even all his fault, though he has been pretty terrible, it just seems like the weirdest s*** goes in. So disappointing watching this team.

Wow, Nyquist scoring so fast was definitely a high point in the season so far. Forgive me for actually being excited and forgetting that the Wings blow every single lead they have ever had. Wings come out and dominate the first scoring 3 goals unanswered. The second period the Wings barely hold on and give up a single goal. In the third Babcock triple shifts Cleary and Samuelsson together while Howard gives up 2 soft goals. Then the game heads into OT where an errant pass from one of the Staals bounces off of Quincey's stick right onto a rookie forward who consequently buries his first NHL goal past Howard who is sprawling around helplessly. TL/DR Wings lose in OT.

Does it piss anyone else off that this team's singular goal every year now is to just make the playoffs? Holland talks about this team being in playoff contention as if they are successful right now. The East is the weakest s*** ever. They would be in 9th place in the West with Dallas having two games in hand if they were still in that conference. Obviously this is a men's league, but Cleary and Samuelsson look nothing like men (not even including Sammy bitching out of that fight last night). I don't think a youth injection can make this team any worse.

This is the same game that includes Chara and Weber on the legends team over Nicklas Lidstrom. With NHL 14 now sporting Malkin, Crosby, St. Louis, and Stamkos all in over Yzerman as well. When the Canucks were doing better their entire top line all went up as well as their defense and goaltending. That said I feel like the people who do the hot/cold changes are not really in tune with the game of hockey at all.

At least Gustavsson is destroying the sentiment that everyone, including myself, hold that he is a capable and great goalie. Wow he has been atrocious tonight.

Howard has been really bad in the SO lately though, so if they score on him, it puts extra pressure on our shooters.

Can anyone explain to me the logic behind blacking out NHL gamecenter viewers when the game is being played on the NHL network? I cannot get the NHL network with the cable I have, so I am forced to find illegal ways to watch the game. It makes no sense to me.
