2/15 GDT : Anaheim Ducks 5 at Red Wings 2

It's not that he's giving him so much ice-time. It's the situations Babs is putting him in. As far as average TOI, he's sitting around 16 minutes/game. 5 forwards have more. http://www.nhl.com/ice/playerstats.htm?fetchKey=20132DETSASALL&sort=avgTOIPerGame&viewName=timeOnIce I love the way Jimmy handles his interviews. He hates journalists.

This has been a perpetual thought for me. Between the Goaltending choices and then seeing how Cleary is given such preferential treatment for no apparent reason.

I agree with most of that. It's hard to shine on a line with a passive Flip and Abby trying to be a center on a line he doesn't really fit the role for. Those guys were tripping all over each other out there. I really like Nyquists work on the PP. I'd like to see him on that line as the 3rd line.

Best part of the night: Our appearing Griffins are clearly NHL ready and competitive.

I don't understand the thought process behind pulling our goalie. There is no evidence to support that going up on a man-advantage has actually been an advantage for us.

Looking at the replay of the game-winner, it's clear that Kronner had no idea where to pass that puck to.

While I agree that Pasha is important to the team, someone says this every time one of our cornerstone guys goes down. We always find ways to win but it's always dependent on how hard the rest of the team wants to play to make up the difference. The team is hurting all around, but not doomed.

Time to scrap the sticks and get a new batch.

Cleary needs to be a little faster....can we grease his skates or something?

What a chance by miller, great pass setting that up.

Why is something as fundamental as a line change biting us in the ass? You have to look at the coaches for that right?

Considering the population of our infirmary, I'll take 2-2 at the end of 2.

Looks like it. 3rd line forcing a lot of turnovers with their speed on the forecheck.

Needs to be someone on the back door when Z rounds the top of the faceoff circle like that.
