    IMO, wings are playing too tentative. I can understand if the Hawks play that way. No reason for the Wings to be.

    It looks like Smith's penalty took the wind out of the wings sails. When he came on the ice after the penalty, he created more havoc. He's got a lot to learn.

    Detroit should just decline any PP opportunities. No team in the league hits more posts than Detroit. Reminds m eof the series when Yzerman hit the post against the Avalanche. Detroit went on to lose the series. This is very similar.

    I'd love to see Tatar in the lineup. What I saw of Bertuzzi showed that he is not ready to play. I agree with Tootoo because of his intensity.

    I am just fuming after that 4 minute PP. The wings are playing to lose. No intensity. Kindl was completely useless. He was afraid to go after the puck. He just backed away and let the Dallas player go and get it. Babcock better tear a bit of skin off his team's arse and demand a better, griity performance.

    That's right. The refs won't be giving Detroit many, if any, PPs tonight. Dallas will likely get the first powerplay. The young goalie is pumped and hot. It will be very difficult to score on him. Luckily, the wings got a lucky bounce.

    How many bad breaks do the wings have to get every game? This team hits more posts than all the teams in their division put together. The wings are playing horribly, compared to their previous 2 games. If Nashville scores the next goal, the gamewill bcome unravelled. Z has got to kick himself in the arse for missing that wide open net and he's our captain? Great example of what not to do.

    As for the Dallas - Columbus game, I believe after regulation, it will be a tie. I'll be hoping for a Dallas victory. BJ's are for real and with Gaborik, a real threat.

    The wings need to be ready from the first drop of the puck. That has not happened too often. Since they are coming home from a west coast trip, I think they will be sluggish. If they are, Phoenix will score first. Hopefully, the wings will come out and play a full 65 minutes and be deadly with their shoot out shots. I used 65 because this is how they play.

    This happens so often when a player signs a bit contract. The player usually tries so hard to validate his worth, that he actually defeats himself. This is what happened to Howard.

    In the shoot out, I hate it when Babcock wants to shoot first. This is a bad move, in my opinion.

    It looks more like Chicago is excited to play the Wings, not the other way around. Talk about unmotivated, except for Howard.

    Franzen, I think, is just as useless as Abdelkader. He has no drive. Hopefully they will trade him.
