This team needs to practice every single day. They should practice non stop on non game days. On game days, they need to practice in the morning. Very disorganized. You can see they are unsure of themselves. -

Hat irks me is how the players and coaches both say they need a little bit mor. They're kidding, right? They need a lot more killer instinct and a lot more of everything else that would lead to goals scored and better defence. Enough of a little bit more. -

i agree. To have both slower skaters in the OT is ludicrous. A major coaching miscue. -
I know everyone's ecstatic with the win. It's actually 2 bad teams putting on an entertaining game. I'll reserve my judgement when they play the likes of Montreal.

Blashill coaches just like Babcock. The Wings stopped skating in the third. They just can't play for 60 minutes.

Babcock couldn't get this team to play either. Blash is obviously not close to Babcock's ability as a coach. This team unmotivated. I do say some of this has to do with coaching. Blash is not ready. -

I watched the third period of the Toronto game. Those guys are really skating and playing well. I can't help but wonder why the wings rarely played like that under Babcock. Now, with Blashill, with the exception of a couple of games, they don't skate and have trouble completing a pass. Certainly the wings are more talented than Toronto. What gives? -

I oils like to call this a slump but it is not. This is a team that is outworked. They appear to be lost. Their passes don't connect very often. Do they even know who they're trying to pass to? In scrambles in front of the net, there is not one defenceman who can take out a player. However, in the corner, they knock a player down for a penalty. -

It irks me that this team is not ready to play. As for turnovers, Kronwall is the main culprit, along with his Klown partner, Ericcson. Mistakes will be made, no doubt. When I watch to see who was on defence when the goal was scored, invariably it was Kronwall and Ericcson. No physical play from them. Actually, there is no physical play from any of the defencemen. They can't move anybody away from the net. -

I have to say that this team is not coached very well. Fort the game that both Babcock and Blashill want to play, the wings don't have the right kind of players. They cannot win a puck battle because our players are not aggressive enough, tough enough or big enough. -

Whoever is working with the defence needs to be replaced immediately. Maple Leafs, even though they are losing, are skating hard. They look organized. If the Leafs had either Howard or Mrazek, they would be very dangerous. The wings look disinterested and disorganized. I'll give Blash another month to right the ship. If he can't do it, then maybe he's not ready to be an nhl coach. -

I am concerned with how the Wings are playing. I'm particularly concerned with Tatar and Richards. Those 2 have no chemistry. I'd rather see Larkin cantering Nyquist and Tatar. Blashill has not been able to motivate the Wings to play right away. Maybe he needs to be more strict. If he ends up being like Lewis, then he will have lost the players. -

I know it's early but I already see a disturbing problem that has plagued this team for years. This team is rarely ready to start a game. They are getting out shot by wide margins. If they would be playing Toronto tonight, they'd get beaten. -
Torontomhas played 3 out of 4 nights. Wings have a back to back and can't skate. Something wrong with their conditioning, if that's the case. Carolina is really sticking it to the Wings. As I've said before, Ericcson and Kronwall are a terrible combination.

It just shows how bad Kronwall and Ericcson are. These are supposed to be seasoned veterans but make rookie mistakes. -

Other teams let their young players play. If they keep Anderson and Cleary, then I will be greatly disappointed in Blashill and Holland. That is not putting your best team on the ice.

Let's face it. Detroit was never meant to win this series. All one has to do is look at the 2 home games that they frittered away. They did this to themselves, year after year after year. -
