Wings would get power play time if they could just apply some pressure. For over a month, it has been mostly sporadic.

I really didn't think Babcock would be able to get his team that well. Tomorrow is a big test Will this be the start of winning Red Wing hockey? Will it be the continuation of the Arizona, SJ games? Hopefully it's the first one.

Ericsson has been horrendous this year and needs to be benched. Marchenko or Ouellette are much better. In the off season, I would love to see Eberle, from Edmonton, on our team. I would gladly trade Nyquist or Tatar for him. These guys need a wake up call and a trade of that magnitude would rattle a few of them. Ericsson would also garner some interest and I would gladly put him on the market. I know that this is controversial but something needs to be done. With a new coach next year, the Wings may see some improvements. Obviously Babcock can't fix the problem, but I'll reserve my final judgement after The next game. It's crucial and if the Wings come out flat, then I say let Babs walk.

If I were Holland, I'd be looking to trade Nyquist for Eberle or Nugent Hopkins. We have people that could be added to make it happen. Nyquist is a -12.

Statistically, Wings have 9 turnovers to St. Louis' 0. I bet if you look back to the last 10 games the Wings have played, you will see a recurrence of that problem No wonder they can't win.

I don't understand all the high sticking penalties. Quincey's penalty was moronic and unnecessary. Glendening's too. The line combinations are baffling. Anderson in over Weiss. Major hate from Babcock. If the Wings get eliminated from the playoffs, and right now it is dicey, Babcock needs to sign with Toronto. Big change is coming. Nyquist and Tatr need some time off - they're both fried.
