Which team would piss you off the most if they won the cup?
Jeff6851 replied to Red Wings Addict's topic in General
As long as St Louis remains virgins for years to come I'll be happy. Even if it means the Pens have to beat them every year -
I started the thread to just get an idea of what would be possible since I'm not very good with the salary cap. I can't say I didn't see it going into free agent discussion but I didn't intend for it to happen

I thought not watching would help us win since watching the Caps game made us lose (I saw all 5 Caps goals and no Wings goals). We got a point though

Semin, Parise

History will be made is so much better

Turn on game, goes to 3-0, turn it off, 3-1, come back, 4-1, leave again, 4-3, come back, 5-3
-
I take full blame for this
-
And that's that I'm sorry I turned it back on
-
You're welcome, everyone
-
I turned it off, last time I did we scored
-
So I decided to work out instead and I come back and we've scored. If the Caps score again I'm leaving because it'll be obvious I'm a jinx

Yeah, see ya later guys, I've got school stuff

Backup goalie making his second start of the season? Looks like a Vezina winner against Detroit. Hopefully it's different tonight

Shooting on the PP?
-
lol @ those misses

Don't look now, but Chicago is only 4 points behind us. We could actually finish fourth. When is the last time that happened?
-
And now they will taste all their top players getting injured at once

This is the worst team in a while that was working because of chemistry. We have a lack of talent out there combined with lazy guys that have all kinds of talent. In 08 they were stacked, in 09 they were stacked. We need to trim the fat this summer (Holmstrom, Hudler, Cleary) and get some guys that can play well and don't get worn out.

I picked two perfect games to go out for
-
Are the special teams just being lazy? Do we not have the right pairings or the right players? Are they just being too careful on the PP and trying too hard to waste time on the PK? Is it a problem with the coaching? Since the other thread showed that the vast majority of people here think that special teams are our biggest weakness I'd like to see where people think the problem lies

I doubt he'll come back next year if he's still having trouble. Such a damn shame, almost looked like he could go out with a Cup but instead he may end it trying to get back to help the team

It's because most of those guys look good because they play with Dats or Lids. When they have to make their own decision or their own chance they choke. I thought of Hudler the entire time I typed this
