None of them amount to missing Dats and Lids, especially at the same time. Nevermind missing plenty of other starters

I've noticed that as well. With that kind of coverage you can't just skate it in, throw it in and have a guy like Helm, Flip or Mursak go after it. Defense will race for the puck but with our guys having more momentum they could get to it first and start setting up for a shot or take a shot or two

That is why I made the thread though!! Really though preventing shorties is part of fixing the PP. Scoring on the PP would also prevent them.

I realize that but leading the league with a month to go does not excuse a decade of irrelevancy. If they're excited then more power to them, it's great for the game. However, they need to stop it with the "Detroit sucks" and saying Vancouver is s***ty when they really have no room to talk.

True, it would be nice to get them back sooner though. I mean, Datsyuk unsure if he'll play on the west coast trip? If he doesn't we are done (division wise)

I'll be the first to admit I felt really pessimistic during the game but first round bust is crazy. It depends on who we get in the second round as well. They way the team is playing now we won't beat St Louis, Vancouver, etc
