If I was as drunk as he appears, judging by the look on his face, I would almost certainly have done the same thing. That's why I don't drink very often. I'm a lot of fun up to a point. -

I think such a move should be reserved for when the guy on the breakaway is at the top of the circles, in your zone. To dive in the neutral zone took him out of the play entirely. His feet were already moving. If he stayed up, he would have had a better chance to catch up. Of course, my whole argument is premised on the belief that q done and didn't fall.Edit. Looking at the replay, little did have a significant headstart. I still feel that q had a chance to catch up.

Actually, he fell on his face. In all seriousness, I can't tell if he was divin or falling. I would be far more pissed if he was diving for the puck. In that case, he's trying to make the lazy play instead of hustling to get back in the play.

It seems like jimmy gets better, season to season. He seems to be different from those flash in the pan goalies.

I fail to see your point. Everyone wanted draper and and Maltby to retire once they were no longer effective. That does not mean they were never effective or that everyone always wanted them off the team.

You're well aware of my position on fighting by now. I want to make it clear that it is not because of these types of incidents that I oppose fighting. I totally agree that this is noting more than assault. It would be disingenuous to tie this incident to the broader issue of fighting in hockey.

I always thought the Emery hate was overblown. He proved me wrong. That was absolutely gutless. He got shellacked 4/15 shots, he should be embarrassed. Put that effort into your game. What a clown.

How was this issue resolved? How much time was there between the purchase? I'm interested in the contractual implications; I want to bring this up to my professor. I'm pretty sure the seller was bound to sell to you and the other buyer. -

Quincey really screwed the pooch on that last play. But I feel DD screwed up by abandoning the open man. Generally, on. a 2 on 1 the defenseman should cover the open man so the goalie can come out to challenge the shooter.
