Had my first official bout of NHL lockout related depression today. Didn't think I would really care until NCAA football was done. Who am I kidding?

I need a break, but I'd rather have a breakthrough.

Had to turn of the lions game for a few minutes to hear the radio Disney top 3 countdown. Back to the game now

I will never understand why they play Dave Matthews before and during football games on ABC.

Shane Doan just signed for 4 years 21+ million dollars with an additional 2+ available in bonuses. This is what's wrong with the NHL. Teams can't stop themselves from signing horrible contracts so they take it out on the players in contract negotiations.

My co-worker has been looking for a new house for over a year. He is sick of living with his brother and his "crazy" sister in law. Every time I work with him he has a new story about some house or condo he looked at and why it isn't the right one for him. His excuse usually has to do with the area being "too slummy" or the house/condo being poorly built. This week he found his dream house in Livonia for the perfect price but refuses to live there because "it's too slummy. I don't want to go...

When i work the midnight shift i have to sit in the command center twice a night, while my coworker goes for a walk around the building. When I do this it usually takes me 20 minutes tops, somehow it always takes him AT LEAST an hour.

Picking up all these extra shifts wouldn't be so bad if I was getting paid extra for overtime. This is a big downside of having two part time jobs as opposed to a single full time job. Working 60 hours a week isn't what I signed up for. "Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up..."

Hey coworkers. Stop getting fired. I don't want to pick up your crappy shifts.

The new Sizable Lion Photography & Graphic Design website is so close to being done. Between the new website and an awesome video project that we're starting tomorrow things are getting pretty exciting over here.

Staying awake on the midnight shift is no easy task. Observing and reporting a whole lot of nothing right now. Wish one of my good friends would win the lottery and get me out of this job ASAP.
