This will be interesting. I don't mind Columbus beating Minny, but I wish they had done it in regulation. Simple for the Wings--win or don't make the playoffs... Hell, if they don't beat Nashville or Calgary, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs It'd be sweet for Minnesota to miss the playoffs.

I hate everything about Chicago. So yeah, I'll miss when the Wings beat them. I'm glad they're getting screwed and becoming the lone original six team in the West. Even when the Wings played against Chelios and the Blackhawks, Chicago wasn't a threat. St. Louis, San Jose, and Anaheim have been chippier rivals/playoff opponents over the last twenty years, and I'll miss those games more (despite some of their late starts).

I know this have been talked about here before. I would like to get him, but I doubt we will. I see Boston picking him up especially after missing on Iginla. Pierre LeBrun also tweeted Boston will likely be a front-runner.

Would rather have Yandle. Has more playoff experience. Has more upside. Although I like the good defense creates offense argument, I like our defense. If we're spending $5M-6M, I'd actually prefer to have Jagr, Gaborik or even St Louis. -
