That was a really s***ty game. They sucked and we were slightly better but couldn't score and as usual we have s***ty defenders who give away a goal or two.

We would've been the underdog going into both remaining series so believing that we probably would've won is a bit optimistic I'd say.

Our prospect Alexande Kadeykin was just traded from Atlant to SKA St. Petersburg, that must be a good sign if one of the absolute top teams in the KHL wants him.

There are lots of smallish defenders who aren't paired with behemoths like Chara. If Hicketts is good enough to play he can definitely make it work.

I haven't looked in detail but most SHL teams have a large majority of Swedes and not that many foreigners really. Frölunda which is my local team that has Håkan Andersson on the board and a couple of Detroit drafted kids currently has two Norwegian, one Fin and one American player and the other 23 players are Swedish and a large group of those are kids or players who have Frölunda as their original club. I think you'll find about the same if you look at Skellefteå, Färjestad or the other large Swedish clubs.

I really really doubt this, Russia has done great in the WJC for years now. They have a lot of really solid young players coming up.

Nope it was a reflection on the comment above yours that said to look out for Smith this season.

I don't even think he's cocky, he just comes across as kinda slow.
