I don't like to just bag on the goalie but Howards play inspires zero confidence, it's not that he's outright bad but things just seem to happen around him and he gets odd bounces against him that he has no control over, he has slow reactions. It's not a good quality for a goalie to have.

What about Tallinder from Buffalo? he can probably be had for cheap and he is a lot better shut down defenseman than kindl, Q and Smith. -

If NHL players don't play in the olympics it will be just like the world cup each year, boring hockey and uninteresting and the winner can't even claim to be the best since the best 500players in the world aren't playing. -
