I have no problem believing that some people acted like idiots before the filter but you can still see what someone wrote even if it has a few stars in it and you mods can still warn and ban someone for repeated offenses, the filter really accomplishes nothing.

Well either way we NEED reinforcement on the blueline and I am not 100% convinced that our prospects will be that much of an improvement if we just keep doing nothing. At some point a trade might be necessary and I'd rather do it now and sign a guy on fairly long term so we have some stability going forward.

I'm not a big fan of Bouwmeester but he's a huge upgrade over Q or Kindl or whoever we have on our second pairing right now. I hope this olympic tournament gave Babcock a taste of what it's like to coach a team with actual capable defenders...

Congratulations Canada, as much as I hate to see you win you were clearly the better team today. I am very impressed by Canada's team defense, they don't give up an inch and Price barely had to break a sweat in the semis and final. It's too bad that we lost three of our top6 players beforehand and then Bäckström just before the game, we need everyone healthy if we are going to give Canada a good fight. Even then I think we only win 1-2 out of 10 games maybe but it would've at least been a closer and better game. We all know how the Zetterbeard thrives on games like these for example.

Well I listened to the latest hockeybuzz podcast today and apparently it's sooooo unfair that Canada and USA has to play each other in the semifinals just because Sweden got the "easiest" group with nothing but scrubs. Too bad that Latvia and the Swiss are by far the best of the b-nations. Also since when the hell are the "best" teams guaranteed to never meet until the gold medal game?
