Hedman was pretty awful in the world cup back in 2012 and Tallinder was great when Sweden won the world cup in 2013 so that's probably the main reason plus Tallinder is a great leader in the locker room and a good shutdown guy. Even if Hedman did make it he'd be a 6th, 7th guy at best and wouldn't get many minutes so his not being there won't affect the team much anyway.

Good luck Finnish Wing, it's been a good game and no matter who wins this I am happy there are two Scandinavian teams in the final, we has great youth development programs now in both countries.

Everything is definitely going the fins way so far, not even a penalty on the elbow to the face and then they score the first time they've been out of their own zone in the entire period.

I think Sweden are favourites but if the Fins can play as well as they did yesterday they have a good shot too.

I have to agree that baseball is incredibly boring and soccer is right up there.

I read somewhere that soccer is the sport in the states that has the most players on all levels but on the professional level it just isn't very popular yet.

I don't know what is wrong but this years canadian team simply isn't any good, it wasn't a fluke that they lost yesterday and are being completely outplayed again today.

I love them both but heading into a tough playoff series there is no one I'd rather have on my team than Z, he carries the team on his back and elevates everyone he plays with. Dats can sometimes disappear a little in the toughest games but Z is always doing his job and always great.

Hockey players are usually a lot more well mannered than soccer players.
