that would mean we are in full blown rebuilding mode, which means trade D, Z, jimmy, and possibly kronwall. (probably not kronwall though) we have the rebuilding route or the win now route which is trade prospects like mantha, mrazek, 1st rounder, tatar, smith, calle (already did) for all star players that are like 30, kesler, spezza. then there's the holland route, stay put, see how things play out and make the playoffs every year but wont be a top contender until its too late. (d and z are past elite) my choice- sign callahan or gabs. dont trade top prospects or z. hopefully thats enough and we could make a run in the playoffs soon

he should be working alongside with chelios and fischer not playing with pulks and mantha. he could teach the kids in practice as a coach or he could teach them in games by falling down, turning the puck over, and saying ok kids dont do what i do out here.

i just dont see why we wouldnt want a one year upgrade from what we had last season on our 3rd pairing. this would give oullett, sproul and march another year to develop if they need it.
