Red Wings cheat and win 75% of the faceoffs then bounce 16 of those off jacket defensemen for a 17-0 win. Dats gets the only goal not off of a deflection

He only had 20 saves, but he made 13 in the first when the jackets were buzzing. Our D only allowed 8 shots the rest of the way, but it could have gotten out of hand if Ozzie doesn't make those saves. He played well and I would say he out played Mason, which is more than a lot of people expected out of Osgood.

Well I thought Calgary was going to be tough, but I guess not with that guy playing any minutes. I think he's most famous for being in the Chelios trade if I'm correct

Game ones are big, we didn't play perfect d and Ozzie was there to save us and I think that is what a lot of people were worried about. He didn't let in a soft goal and was really sharp in the first. If our D didn't give up that puck it would have been a shutout and not too much Ozzie could have done on that one. It is a relief to see Chris play at that level, which most of us were expecting all year. Nice job Osgood, keep it up

I'm nervous as hell, I don't know how the Jackets could take this

I can't sleep. I have my Lidstrom jersey, my Red Wings beanbag chair, my 97 Stanley Cup flag up, and the rest of my Wings jerseys ready for tomorrow. I may not survive the full work day because I'm in the middle of Blues country wearing a Lids jersey. At the beginning of the season some door to door guys were trying to sell season packages for the Blues games. I told them I was a Red Wings fan and ran them off. Haven't seen them back in the area since. LETS GO RED WINGS

I hate losing to the Blues, but I want them in the playoffs because I miss watching the extra round of playoff games that they use to be good for. I'll let them win in a shootout 4-3. Babs sends Downey, Malts, and Conklin as our three for the shootout. (only reason we lose) I can't wait for the playoffs. Hopefully the Blues and Sharks play the first round and the Blues pull off an upset. I wouldn't mind the possibility of playing them in the second round that way I could go to a playoff game here in St. Louis. I'm googling to find where I can get octipi just in case.

I wasn't trying to compare the team we now have to the Ducks last year. I was just saying that a lot of analists were jumping on Ducks bandwagon for another year after they won last year, because they replaced Nied with Schnied, and not much else changed on the that team. People were picking Anahiem to repeat, thats all I'm saying. Let the season play itself out. Who knows maybe we get hit with injury bug like Ottawa did this year (knock on wood)
